Schwalbe Marathon E-Plus outer tyre Maximum safety at high speeds and over long distances. Highest Marathon quality, further developed for the special demands of an E-bike tire. The outer tire features Schwalbe puncture protection level 7. The patented SmartGuard puncture protection layer is additionally supported by two layers of RaceGuard fabric. This SmartDualGuard provides even better protection against cuts from sharp objects. The Marathon E-Plus rides surprisingly light thanks to the use of high-tech materials. The Anti-Aging sidewall withstands the typical overload caused by underinflation significantly longer before cracks appear. The carcass construction reinforces the sidewall with an additional layer of fabric and thus stabilizes the tire for more carrying capacity. Of course the new Marathon E-Plus is ECE-R75 certified and also suitable for Pedelecs with pedal assistance up to 25 km/h and S-Pedelecs. The outer tyre is specially designed to meet the requirements of modern E-Bikes.
